"Artomobile Project"
A generous patron donated a big baby blue 1985 Ford LTD station wagon for KMAC to transform into an art car by the end of July in time for our 3rd Annual Kentucky Art Car Weekend in early August 2004.  We put out a call and shook the trees of Kentucky and Indiana in order to find an artist that could turn this automotive gem into a spectacular work of art, a road-worthy piece of sculpture.


After receiving many Art Car proposals, Artist Stu Cox was selected to take on the project.
 
The Finished Product

"Betty" is a 1985 Ford LTD station wagon retrofitted and
reincarnated in 2004 with reclaimed trim work and architectural elements
from Historic Old Louisville by Stu Cox, Jen Hunt, & their crew at
Woodlander's Art Custom Woodworks.
